First Half

Arsenal starts the first half with great passion and has the good opportunities in opening minutes. Manchester united respond very well and score there 1st goal in 8th minute when Anderson played Cristiano Ronaldo into the left channel but the low cross appeared simple enough for Kieran Gibbs to clear. However, the full-back slipped at the vital moment and Ji-Sung Park nipped in, clipped it past the 19-year-old then lifted his finish over Manuel Almunia. Arsenal must score three times to progress now. After that Van Persie (Arsenal) gives away a free-kick following a challenge on Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo score on that free-kick. Now the Manchester United have the three goal lead. On the other hand Arsenal try to score but Manchester united’s defender do not provide the free space for Arsenal strikers. 1st half goes into the favor of the Manchester united.

Second half

Manchester united starts the second half with the happiness because after the outstanding first half performance they qualify the champion’s league final. In 61st minute Cristiano Ronaldo starts and finishes the counterattack, backheeling the initial clearance to Ji-Sung Park. Park releases Wayne Rooney down the left and his low cross is perfect for Ronaldo to drill into the roof of the net in front on the United fans.In 75th minute referee sent off the Manchester united defender Fletcher (missed the final). Sir Alex Ferguson does not look impressed as Darren Fletcher clips Cesc Fàbregas as the midfielder runs into the area and concedes a penalty. The red card comes out before Robin van Persie fires the spot-kick into the top corner. Manchester United wins semi final against the Arsenal with the aggregate of 4-1.
